Miracles? At times kindness itself is a miracle! In this week’s parsha Eliezer, Abraham’s representative, is sent to find someone who could be a wife for Abraham’s son Isaac. Eliezer goes to an area where there was less idle worship, and when he comes to a well he sees a young woman Rivkah who generously approaches him to offer him water, and then, unasked, she brings water to all of his ten camels. Eliezer realizes that she is exceptional in her open generosity and midrash says that the water from the well actually rose up to fill her jar. In any direction water is a miracle on this planet.
