Deuteronomy 3:23 – 7:11
Moses participates in receiving the second “luchot” – the sapphire tablets of the ten commandments. Here the “luchot” emerge from deeper space with the Kabbalistic imagery. On the tablets are the letter “aleph” – the first silent letter of the Hebrew alphabet and the “lamed” which begins the word “no” that prefaces the negative commandments. Around the tablets are the ten sephirot – the energy centers of Kabbalistic cosmology. These same energy centers are radiating through threw Moses.
