A woman whose husband has died and she is threatened with poverty, the prophet Elisha tells her to purchase many vessels and miraculously they keep filling with oil. Elisha also predicts the Shunammite woman will bear a child.
Another woman came to the prophet to have him pray for her to have a child and indeed she then did.
The child grew and one day his head hurt badly.
The mother asked for donkey to fetch Elisha as the boy was dying and Elisha breathed life into the boy.
