King Solomon made a deal with king Hiram to get all the materials needed to construct a permanent Mishkan – home for Hashem. The Temple.
At the king’s command, they quarried great, costly stones, to lay the foundation of the house with hewn stone. So Solomon’s builders and Hiram’s builders and the Gebalites did the hewing and prepared the timber and the stones to build the house.
The Temple had a spiral staircase and some of its windows were narrow on the inside and widen to the outside.
