In this parsha “spies” are sent out to see if the land the Hebrews are about to enter is safe, and for a variety of reasons, they come back and 10 of them lie about what they saw, claiming that there are giants in this land, who threatened them with loud screams and that compared to them, it was as if the Jews were as small as grasshoppers. You have to question those sent to represent you and be sure of their agendas and in the end see for yourself.
