In this haftorah of promise, we are told, maybe as a metaphor, that our structures will be made of sapphires, like the sephirot, and our windows will be of precious jewels as our homes will sparkle with Hashem’s truths and our children will learn ways of peace. Though the metal worker has made instruments of destruction these shall be destroyed. Let those hungry come to the waters and they will have the resources to buy what they need. Hashem will provide, as he did with King David, and we shall have this kind of righteous leader. Evil leaders and nations shall flee and we shall celebrate in peace and joy.
