How to make the right decision?  Here Abraham is confronted with making one. His barren wife Sarah has given him her handmaiden Hagar to, in a way, prove his masculinity by siring a child. But when Hagar becomes pregnant she mocks Sarah continuously, so Sarah tells Abram to send Hagar away.  What to do? Hashem tells him to listen to Sarah.  Why?  Because she is recognized as a holier prophet than he and she would become the progenitress of our people, not Hagar. A people promised to be expansive as the sands and the stars. Let us too listen to our righteous women and act.
