Ki Teitzei Haftorah Isaiah 54:1–10

Ki Teitzei Haftorah Isaiah 54:1–10

Here the prophet tells a barren, unproductive, childless woman, a symbol for us, to sing. Widen your tent to let more people in, strengthen your stakes and ropes to support your homes. The disgraces of our past are wiped away and we are assured Hashem has not abandoned us, there will be a redemption as signified by the rainbow at Noah’s time. Hashem says that though mountains may move and hills collapse, kindness shall endure.  Let us pray in this time of global danger where the world is collapsing that our responsible actions will deserve the compassion Hashem.
