Ha’azinu (“Give ear, O Heavens”)
Deuteronomy 32:1 – 32:52
This chapter is a song poem containimg a number of images alluding to the greatness of Hashem whose teachings are like rain from storm winds – here in the form of the letter “yud” – the first letter of the Tetragrammaton – one of the holy phrases for Hashem who also is called the jewel like Rock from which flows the honey of wisdom – here in 10 streams referring to the ten sephirot. “He is like an eagle. . . hovering over its young, spreading its wings.”
And below in the image are the warnings of perversion and punishment for idolatry and sexual abominations.
