Deuteronomy 1 – 3:22
The sun was made to stand still on the day of the battle with the giants Og and Sichon. The Hebrews having crossed the river Arnon defeated the Emorites with a surprise attack but the battle raged till it was almost Shabbos and this is when Joshua asked for time to stop. Og tried to use a giant stone to hurl at the Hebrews but Hashem turned it into a yoke that trapped him.
