Should we be here? According to some sages, there was a heavenly argument as to whether humans should be created. The angels of Truth and Justice opposed humans for what damage they would do, but Love and Righteousness defended them for the good they can do. Some midrash say the first humans were connected twins male and female to be separated like Plato thought as well. Here in the Garden of Eden are the tree of knowledge of good and evil (note the mushroom) and the tree of life and above these trees the creation of the second day – the firmaments combining waters and fire and air – above and below. And, may we deserve the confidence of those supportive angels.
