The Zohar speaks to this most important parsha of the giving of the Ten Utterances – the Ten Commandments. It’s said that the first items created were the Hebrew letters. Once the earth and heavens were made, the “hands” of Hashem would engrave two sapphire tablets from two drops of dew and the letters of the soon to be words flew to the tablets, the one on the right with white letters on black fire and the other black letters carried by white fire. The tablets themselves contain the illuminated sephirot as well.
