This week’s story is about a power-driven self-absorbed megalomaniac. In his effort to overthrow the just leadership and undermine the society he convinces followers, but their arrogance ends up in their own destruction by fire from the bottom and in his case being sucked into the earth. Sometimes the punishments of the past would be very appropriate for some of the evil people in our present for them to be also sucked into the earth and disappear. There is also in the story women in this case a wife and daughter who saved one of the converts to this madman and keep him from sliding into the pit as well. May we all be saved by the power of just women.
