Bechukotai (“If you will follow My decrees”)

Leviticus 26:3 – 27:34

This is one of the toughest parshas and often when read in synagogues is read very quickly.  Here is a series of divine blessings shown on the right of prosperity and abundance and peace in the country and the cities and on the left the divine reproofs for departing from devotion to Torah causing drought, hunger, disease and suffering here portrayed with this group in the uniforms of holocaust victims abandoned under the bleeding branches.  Each side of the tree of life has ten limbs reflecting the ten sephirot of the Kabbalah.
