Exodus 13:17 –17:16
The Hebrews crossed the Yam Suf – the red sea – but what is depicted here is that there were twelve passageways through the chambers of the water – for each of the twelve tribes. And as they walked through they could see each other as if looking through glass walls and the water walls also had fruits and food suspended so they could eat as they walked. Miriam Moses’ sister sang a song of praise for the miracles of Hashem.
Moses lifts his staff the center of which contained the energies from a deeper realm of being – Yetzirah – the world of formation.
